BREEAM DESIGN & ASSESSMENTS
CJS Acoustics has significant expertise in providing acoustic assessments for BREEAM. We offer design consultancy and testing packages for the credits available under both POL05 and HEA05 of BREEAM.
POL05 relates to the mitigation of noise emissions from a development. HEA05 ensures that the internal acoustic conditions within a building meet the needs of the intended users, with credits available for sound insulation, internal ambient noise and room acoustics.

BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), first published by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) in 1990 is the world's longest established method of assessing, rating, and certifying the sustainability of buildings.

Buildings are assessed across several categories with credits awarded based on the level of environmental performance achieved. The goal of BREEAM is to reduce the environmental impact of buildings, improve occupant well-being, and encourage sustainable practices in the construction and operation of buildings.

Our consultants are full members of the Institute of Acoustics, and as such are suitably qualified acoustians under BREEAM requirements.
